8 Box originally formed in 2005. The current lineup solidified when their first self-titled EP was recorded which included Jeff Johnson (vocals-guitars), Brian Culverhouse (drums) and Scott Smith (bass). This EP was originally sold exclusively at live performances.
Select tracks from the EP and many new tracks have been combined and remastered to form the new CD, Politics And Prayer. The title of the debut album was borrowed from the band's first single scheduled to be released in early 2008.
Still without a major label backing, the success of the band and the album has been declared an Internet phenomenon as sales on iTunes and CD Baby continue to soar.
8 Box would like to thank all their supporters and we're looking forward to meeting everyone on the 2008 US tour. Dates will be announced soon.
